Biography
It was after years of sales and sales management experience that a resignation of a sales person who was hand selected by him sparked the idea for his first book in the spring of 1999. After eight years of researching, writing and performing in a full time sales and sales management positions, "Your Sales Career Strategy" will be a guide book for people who want to be in "outside" sales.
Experience
Since his college graduation in 1991, Chris has been a consummate Sales professional serving in many capacities and a variety of industries. The industries include: paper and packaging, athletic equipment, industrial piping systems, valve systems, construction equipment, pharmaceuticals, IT consulting services, enterprise software, and real estate as an individual. With over 18 years experience, his total sales and profits generator for the companies he has worked for number in the millions.
Personal
Chris attended Miami University (Ohio) and graduated with B.S. in Business with a major in Finance. He, also, broadened his global perspective by participating in the international studies program offered by Miami University in Luxembourg.
Born in 1968, Christopher E. Gilmore spent his adolescent years in Cincinnati, Ohio. His father worked for the United Way for over 30 years and his mother was a homemaker and teacher.
Chris lives with his wife and 2 boys in the Cincinnati area. He enjoys coaching his boys in their many sports and interests. His family frequently volunteers time and money to several non-profit organizations and their church. His latest passion is to bring an ice rink to his home town of Mason, OH.
